The Photographer

Carrie Singletary lives in Folsom, Louisiana, a rural suburb located north of New Orleans.  Being surrounded by farms and countryside offers many opportunities for beautiful photography.  Carrie enjoys capturing the landscapes and natural habitats found in the country.  Still lifes have also been added to Carrie's portfolio and is currently offering many of her stock photos at www.worldofstock.com. 

Carrie was recently published in the America 24/7 project in the State book for Louisiana (Louisiana 24/7 DK Publishing Sept. 2004).  The America 24/7 State Book series contains the most compelling photographs taken by amateur and professional photographers from across all 50 states.  Photographs taken by approximately 3,000 photographers nationwide were reviewed and selected by a team of editors from some of the nation's most respected periodicals.
